In India, there are significant but unresolved gaps in the public health sector as a result of inadequate budgetary spending on healthcare, a shortage of human resources, and a lack of facilities to meet the demands of the people. Due to this, the vast majority of people are compelled to access expensive commercialized private healthcare, which frequently has catastrophic financial consequences for households. India’s plan for enhancing population health and achieving desired health outcomes continues to be constrained by this cycle. As a result, working in the area of health and hygiene is important.

Sambal was established to offer medical assistance to the neediest people in isolated places. It is steadfastly committed to taking the lead on health-related issues, maintaining partnerships as necessary, upholding the government’s norms and standards, fostering ethical and evidence-based treatment, providing technical assistance, managing funds, fostering change, building strong institutional capacity, keeping track of the state of the health, and assessing health trends.
